Technology is changing every day in every industry. And healthcare is no different. We’re seeing tech advancements that are saving lives and making everyday tasks in the industry easier and more efficient. The industrial computer cart on wheels is a common sight in a medical facility, but there are many other uses for laptops too. Below are some of the ways technology can deliver powerful outcomes for health and aged care services.
Medication and treatment
With access to accurate patient records, doctors and nurses can review a full medical history in detail, enabling them to diagnose, treat, and administer medications in a timely manner.
Security and organised record keeping
Traditional filing systems are problematic. In an emergency, medical staff need fast access to patient records. If it’s a life-or-death situation, rummaging through a cabinet to find a patient file wastes precious time. Using a secure and efficient digital filing system not only protects patients’ privacy, it also makes finding important information easier.
Computers for every room
Laptops give doctors and nurses access to a portable solution that’s equipped with everything they need, wherever they are.
Laptop computers are portable so they can accompany doctors and nurses on home visits, giving them offsite access to the hospital network.
Surgeons rely on computer systems for performing intricate procedures and monitoring the wellbeing of their patients. Laptop carts are commonly used in theatre as a solution for medical imaging, allowing surgeons to monitor a procedure closely.
Communication and inventory management
Doctors and nurses can also access the internet for information shared by their peers on conditions they are perhaps unfamiliar with, but others in their profession have treated.

Warranty service and support
All machines will come with the appropriate vendor warranty as requested. We are certified service agents and can provide this service component for the machines as supplied for warranty and insurance repairs.
Trident also utilises a task tracking software platform to monitor all repair tasks taking place at our Notebook Program customer sites. This means Trident can provide regular reporting on repair types and repair times to the facilities we are managing.
This software also allows Trident to be proactive in spare parts/issue management as we have visibility into trends for each type of notebook and can adjust our practices dynamically to ensure no impact on your organisations.
Various service packages are available, which means you can tailor the service level to suit your needs and budget.
From consignment stock through to the purchase of buffer stock, Trident will actively monitor the needs of the program and adjust as required. We have existing database monitoring systems to manage the needs of multiple sites and can meet any increased manpower demands.
